We want hiring to be a two-way dialogue and our process is designed just as much for you as it is for us, so you can expect to get to know us well along the way. Here's a quick snapshot of the different steps.
Getting to know you
01. First interview
If we believe that you might be a match for the position you’ve applied for, you will be invited to a 45-60 minute interview with our People & Culture Manager and hiring manager.
We let you choose the format of our first meeting and you get to choose between a virtual chat, coffee at the office or a short run in Nydalen.
The purpose of this meeting is to give you a proper introduction to Mentra, the role and connected expectations for the role and to discuss your CV and aspirations.
The first interview is also a good place to highlight what experience, approach and attitude you can bring to the role.

02. Case/ home assignment
We invite all potential candidates to work on a realistic and interesting home assignment/ test, so that we can get a real impression on how you work and think, and to see if you will fit in and thrive in Mentra.
The assignment is designed to give you greater insight into the kind of work you will be doing at Mentra. It could be a coding task, looking through your portfolio or a case.
After presenting your assignment, you will meet the hiring manager for a 1 hour depth interview. Here, you will be introduced to the department and the challenges they work on, discuss your CV even further, as well as what you believe you can bring to the position.

03. Reversed background checks
After checking your references we offer you to do the same - call (or chat with) some of our employees to better understand whether this is a good match for you or not. This gives you the opportunity to meet more of our team, and get a broader picture of our culture and our people.

04. Decision and job offer
After your interviews are done, we'll bring everything together from your application and interviews and review it.
If we are a good match, we will contact you and give you an offer. You will receive your contract by e-mail. Hopefully you’ll want to take your career further with us!
