We have the greenfield in front of us together with the support and structure we need to succeed. We can go everywhere, but know not to go just anywhere.
We believe we have the perks of a start-up combined with the benefits of a mature company. For us, it’s the best of two worlds.
We have the audacious ambitions you’d expect to find in a start-up. We want to make people healthier and happier by making them train better and more often, thanks to our technology. So basically change their habits. No easy feat, but why aim lower?
Although audacious, our ambitions are far from unrealistic. They will take considerable time, effort and money to achieve, but being in the work-out world, we know one or two things about stamina.
We’re confident we can make it, because we have reached considerable heights already. In less than one year, we launched & delivered an innovative, high-quality tech hardware, developed a pretty awesome iOS and Android app and produced more than 500 workout videoes.
In addition we have backing from our owner SATS, giving us both structure and stability. At the same time, it raises the stakes; we have to live up to their standards. But then again, we want nothing less.
So yeah, if you like a combo of guts and grit, you’ve come to the right place.

Rflex & Club-access
We want our employees to be healthy and happy too! All employees have full access to Mentra, they can work out on more than 250 SATS clubs and they get their own Rflex at home.
Work from home + flex days
We meet at the office three times a week, but hey: our office is always open and you are welcome everyday if that suits you the best.
With free access to a gourmet canteen, nutritious eating is easy.
Monthly Minister of Culture
Every month, a new Minister is selected and responsible for bringing people together for some afterwork fun.
We workout together at the office twice a week, keeping up our stamina! Not everyone wants to join every time, and that is perfectly fine.
Changing peoples’ habits is nearly impossible. But only nearly.
We are a start-up venturing into the unknown. Working in Mentra means being a part of an environment where people constantly analyze, make hypothesis, test, fuck-up, learn and move forward. Facing challenges is a natural part of our everyday, since there is no clear path moving forward. This means we often seek discomfort to stay in the learning zone instead of in the comfort zone.
